Q: Does Delia sound like a robot?

No. Delia has a custom voice and personality — warm, clear, professional. Customers routinely don't realise they're speaking to an AI. The whole point is that it sounds like you've got a great receptionist, not a call centre menu.

Q: What happens if a customer asks something Delia doesn't know?

Delia is trained to handle your specific trade and your most common scenarios. For anything outside that, it politely takes the customer's details and lets them know you'll be in touch — exactly like a good receptionist would. Nothing falls through the cracks.

Q: Can I customise what Delia asks?

Yes — that's the whole point of the setup process. We build the call flow around your trade, your typical jobs, your diary constraints. If you only do emergency call-outs, we build for that. If you do planned maintenance and quotes, we build for that. It's yours.

Q: What if I want to take some calls myself?

Easy. You can set rules — certain times of day, certain job types, certain postcodes — where Delia hands off or flags calls for you to take directly. It works around you, not the other way round.

Q: How quickly can I be up and running?

Most clients go live within 5–10 business days of completing the onboarding questionnaire. We handle the setup, the testing, and the handover. You don't need to be technical.

Q: What if I'm not happy after going live?

We do thorough go-live testing before anything is switched on. But if something isn't right, we fix it — that's part of the service. On monthly billing, you can cancel with 30 days' notice.

Q: Does it work for all trades?

Delia has been configured for plumbers, electricians, builders, heating engineers, roofers, painters, landscapers, and more. If your business runs on inbound calls and appointment booking, it works for you.

Q: What happens to my existing phone number?

You keep it. We provide a dedicated UK number for Delia. You can redirect your existing number to it, or give out the Delia number on your listings — whatever works best for you.

Q: Is there a contract?

Month-to-month billing with 30 days' notice to cancel. If you commit to 6 or 12 months upfront, the £400 setup fee is waived.
