If you go over your plan limits (voice minutes or outbound SMS segments) we’ll move you to the next tier from the next billing cycle. If usage drops, you can downgrade on the following cycle. No penalties, no surprise invoices — just the next tier when usage increases.

What is an SMS segment?
Networks charge for SMS in "segments" (chunks). A “segment” is one chunk of an SMS that mobile networks bill.

A short text is usually 1 segment. Longer texts (especially with long links) can count as 2–3 segments and cost more.
We keep messages short and uses short links to stay close to 1 segment whenever possible.
